| Description | The entry concerns the use of the aerial parts of Tagetes erecta flowers, as well as the extraction of lutein, meso-zeaxanthin and zeaxanthin from Tagetes erecta in a 15% oil suspension. Additionally, it covers the lutein and zeaxanthin exctract from Tagetes erecta in an oil suspension. Two requests regarding the use of lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin extracted from Tagetes erecta flowers in oil suspension were submitted to the Czech and German competent authorities under Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2015/2283.
