DescriptionThe entry concerns tea, herbal and fruit infusions containing or prepared with leaves of Rubus suavissimus and intended to be consumed as such. It also concerns the use of Rubus suavissimus leaves and fruits in food supplements. It belongs to the plant family Rosaceae . The aqueous infusion is made with water only and has not been subject to any selective extraction. The use is only limited to : - Tea, herbal and fruits infusions consumed as such ; - Non-alcoholic flavoured drinks based on herbal, tea or fruit infusions such as iced teas. This exclude the use of extracts from leaves of Rubus suavissimus S.K. Lee as a sweetener or as a flavouring withing the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on food additives or Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008 on flavourings respectively
